Chingay Parade ..

Here's de entry as promised.. !!
This entry will be mainly about the Chingay celebration in JB

Part 1..
But before that.. there is some other thing that happened last week..
Well.. as everyone know .. last Thursday was Chap Goh Meh 21 - 2 - 2008
We had a gathering with Mei Ching, See Hon, Greg, Jon, Ai Mei, Yvonne, Kassy and Nat.. we played some games and then we went to La Gourmet cafe to have some snack..

Well.. this is wat i ordered..

It was horrible .. cos its too salty ..
I think the chef put in salt when he's frying the anchovies .. then i think he put in salt for twice when he's cooking de sup.. so now u know how salty it is eh ?

Here's de Chingay celebration ..
There is so many ppl joining this celebration ..
I think that Chingay is being known as 游神 in Malaysia and
they called it 妆艺大游行 [pinyin : Zhuāng yì Dà yóu xíng] in Singapore..
Basically there is nothing much to talk about here .. so let de pic tell the story ..

This is outside of the temple..

So many ppl .. and so many stall selling food and drinks

The god is being brought out from the temple ..

There is 5 gods in total .. and this is one of it ..
Everyone is pushing against each other .. too many ppl here ..

Everyone wants to swing the god ..

Imagine the people outside the temple .. wat about those ppl that came and see the event but didnt come into the temple .. there were ppl all around jb town last night watching this event going on ..

So we took a break at CS .. everyone is sitting in front of Starbucks cafe..

by the way .. the Wealth god is a real person .. but he kinda looks like a fake in de pic ..

I went over to the temple at about 5 pm and i got home at about 1.30 am ..

The events starts at about 7.30pm and we've been walking from 7.30 till about 1 am .. and yeah .. we stopped at CS for a short break ..

I managed to swing 2 of the gods .. although i dont really know which god that i've swing .. =.='

There was so many ppl that wanted to swing the god that we all had to push each other to get out turn .. lolx..
